		<description>Hi Kathy and Cuz,
I'm at a conference in California and I'm at a session of which was not a good match for me so hence I'm catching up on my blog reading!
Dave, sounds like a close call on the finger, yowza! You're pulling an Uncle John! :-)
Good to hear you're enjoying the fall location. The boat yard sounds a little interesting with the high tide and all! WOW! Is there a little community that are staying like you? Tom has a burn barrell at his Alaskan shipyard where they hang out in the evenings. It cracks me up!
All is well here. Joey can't wait to get a pumpkin. He has a drawn a "map" of the specific pumpkin he would like. It's about 3 feet by 2 feet. It will be interesting what he and Tom come home from the pumpkin patch with this Friday!

Love ya both!

<description>Hey Dave and Kathy - thanks for an incredible week! It was better than a dream come true. Your new boat is a spacious and well-equipped platform for serious fun and serious sailing - although I know it must have been hard to bid farewell to La Vie. We especially loved the roomy cabins and minimized rocking offered in the multi-hull. And being 6' 6'' I'm not used to being able to stand up straight in sailboats - no problem on SV Pacifica!

How long are you guys in the Cape Cod Area? We're back in Denver now, getting reading to teach school, wishing we were there with you to further explore Nantucket and the Elizabeth Islands. Paddling the kayaks in quiet Hadley Harbor was so relaxing!

I'll email over some of our photos and some stories if you like.

Thanks again and keep in touch,

<description>You have the new boat looking good. Have several times started an email to you but become blocked trying with photgraphs etc.
La Vie proved herself through heavy on the nose sailing from Bundaberg to Sydney but our sail from Sydney home to Adelaide was a wonderful run. Our days clocked 173, 178, 174 .. for 6 and half day with only 2 very wonderful days ashore to wait out frontal systems. We have changed to single line cockpit reefing, Lazy Jacks and new boom bag and a great new dodger. The name still stands proud on the boat and we will soon have crew shirts refecting on her journeys. Still amazed by the boat preparations you made Dave. Regards from us both. Don and Anne.</description>

		<description>Ahoy!
We just got back from our week at the cabin. It was fun to spend a few days with Laura, Kathy and families. They had great things to share about their time with you, and judging by your pics you enjoyed the time too! Congratulations on your engagement!! We are thrilled to welcome Kathy into the family! What a beautiful addition!
We put up a new outhouse at the cabin and hashed over plans for a new cabin. Also, went over the latest LLC document. There are going to be a few clarifications and then we may be e-mail it to you.
We look forward to joining you sometime for a sailing adventure!
Take good care of eachother and good luck with your new sailing business!
